Counsellor Assisted by Canines
Meet Jodee
I’m Jodee Vella, BA (Couns), GCert (Couns), MACA Level 4—a counsellor passionate about supporting people through life’s challenges. I work with clients experiencing grief and loss, anxiety, depression, trauma, low confidence, social skill difficulties, ADHD, autism, and school refusal.
Alongside one-on-one counselling, I also run group programs in schools and host wellbeing days at your location—bringing therapy and connection to where it’s needed most.
In my sessions, I combine professional counselling expertise with the calming, therapeutic presence of my certified therapy dogs. These gentle companions help reduce stress, lower anxiety, and create a sense of safety—making it easier to open up and engage in the process of healing.
Every approach is tailored to you—helping build resilience, confidence, and wellbeing through the unique bond between humans and dogs.
